Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 12, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Shaxx Digital Ltd. uses cookies and similar technologies on shaxx.ca.
1. Current website setup
The Site offers optional Google Analytics measurement. The analytics script does not load unless you select “Accept analytics” in our cookie choice panel. We do not currently load third-party advertising pixels or remarketing tags.
2. Hosting and security logs
Our hosting infrastructure may automatically process technical request information, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, request time, and security events. These server logs support delivery, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and security. They are not used by Shaxx Digital to build an advertising profile of you.
3. Browser storage and your choice
We use local browser storage to remember whether you accepted or declined optional analytics. That preference prevents us from repeatedly asking the same question. If you accept, Google Analytics may use first-party identifiers such as the _ga cookie to distinguish visits and sessions. If you decline, the Google Analytics script is not loaded by our Site.
You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie choices” in the website footer. You can also delete Site data through your browser settings.
4. External websites
Links to external services, such as social networks, review platforms, or email and phone applications, take you away from the Site. Those services may use their own cookies after you visit them. Their policies control that activity.
5. Google Analytics
When you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate page use and interactions with contact, booking, email, phone, and pricing links. Google may process device and browser information, approximate location, referring information, pages visited, and first-party identifiers. We disable advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google Signals in the Site configuration. Google may process this information outside Canada under its own privacy and security practices.
If we later introduce advertising pixels, remarketing, or a materially different tracking purpose, we will update this policy and the consent choices before those technologies load where consent is required.
6. Browser controls
Most browsers let you review, block, or delete cookies and site data. Blocking essential storage may affect requested features. Instructions are available through your browser's help settings.
7. Questions
For questions about cookies or tracking on this Site, contact the Privacy Officer at [email protected] or call (778) 779-1974.
For broader information about how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
This policy describes the current Site configuration. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed when new analytics, advertising, forms, or embedded services are introduced.
